I've just got back from holiday (hence my lack of posting in the last couple of weeks) and have a bundle of exciting photos and stories to share with you. Kicking it off with some beachy snaps from the Isle of Wight and a glimpse of the bargain bikini I got my mitts on while I was away. The first evening was a balmy hot one and was spent munching fish and chips on the seafront in Ryde watching the stunning sunset.
The following day we set off to Appley beach - I was able to air my new bikini for the first time, this two piece mix & match pair was in the sale in Tesco for £3 per piece! Never keen for any atrocious strap marks, I'm definitely a fan of a bandeau top, a style which I think is very flattering for us more modestly boobed babes. I slept with my hair in plaits the night before to give it a lose wave in this messy ponytail, spritzing a bit of Bumble and bumble Surf Spray into the end to create volume and a gritty, beachy texture - I have the miniature bottle which is perfect to pop into your handbag or beach bag. I like to keep my hair scraped back off of my face away from sand and sun cream.
Evening beach walks were also a great chance to take in a bit of fresh air - even if the wind knotted my hair up like crazy! A cosy jumper was a must, I kept snug in my uni hoodie and simple stripey GAP tshirt. I love this shot my sister took - windswept and interesting to say the least!
