The Swimwear Edit: My Holiday Picks.
When you book to go away on holiday, one thing's for sure: it's a GREAT excuse to go shopping! I don't know about you guys but new swimwear is high up on my list of holiday essentials. The hotter the place you're going to, the hotter you want to feel as you strip off and bare that bod on the beach. This year I decided to splash the cash on a few iconic styles to ensure that I had an array of sassy swimwear in reach. The following three looks are my favourite picks from the Highstreet this season:
The Vintage Pin-Up
High waistlines, busty balconnettes and bizarre tanlines (let's be honest here...). This Urban Outfitters bikini is a classic style, perfect for accentuating those peachy bums and giving the illusion of a slimmer waist. Rock a red lip and a silk scarf in your hair for that 1950's vibe. The top and bottoms came in at £18 each. Shop the look here.
The Plunge Onepiece
Topshop stole my heart with this royal blue plunge swimsuit. A little risqué with a slight chance of nip slip... but undeniably an eye-catching piece for the beach. I bought this in a size 6 to ensure the straps weren't going to fly anywhere in a hurry.
The low scooped back is great for tanning and at least your side boob will be brown! The mesh sides are also a really pretty feature. This piece came in at £22.00 - fancy it for yourself? You can shop the look here.
Arguably the best bargain of the lot, I picked up this hot pink bikini from Accessorize for a tenner! With removable straps and a low-rise design, this is the best one of the bunch for maximising your tan. The simple twist design is really pretty and draws the eye to the bust. Shop the range of colours here.
