A little 80's Acid Wash

A little 80's Acid Wash

Today's outfit of the day harks back to the 80's. It's a vibrant yet chilled look, perfect for those days where I want to look stylish yet laid back.

One of my absolute favourite wardrobe items is this silk shirt. I found it in a vintage shop in the Marais in Paris and immediately fell head over heels in love with it. The psychedelic acid wash of purple and fuschia contrasts the lighter denim mum jeans (Beatnik Emporium Vintage Shop), whilst keeping in with the acid wash print.

The long sleeved crop top I'm wearing beneath the shirt gives off a pretty shimmer when the sun hits it, and complements the purple and blue colours well, it adds an extra dimension and a bit of glitz without being too OTT. The addition of my slouchy denim shirt helps to dress it down.

The dangly earrings are oh so boho - I picked them up from Urban Outfitters sale a while back. I like them because they're eye catching but not at all weighty and so they add a dainty extra touch without over complicating the outfit as a whole.

Of course, in true 80's fashion, this outfit is paired up perfectly with my my white leather converses. Keeping it cool.

I was feeling rather adventurous and so experimented with an ombrรฉ lip look. Sleek's true colour matte lippies in 'Mystic' and 'Exxxagerate' look beautiful together and they don't break the bank! Their colour pigmentation is insane and they tend to last on the lips for a few good hours before needing a retouch.

Hope you enjoyed this 80's vibe OOTD! Stay tuned for more fashion posts.

Georgia
