A workwear affair
The end is nigh for my time at University and I've started popping along to many a Grad recruitment fair. It's very important to make a good impression at these types of events and to present yourself well. So sadly I'm having to ditch my ripped mum jeans and Timberland boots in favour of something a little classier.
A well fitting bodycon dress is always a safe bet, providing that the material is of good quality and it's of appropriate length. I picked up this green beauty from Zara late last year. The extra detailing on the collar is particularly pretty.
Paired with tights and a pair of Ozzy and Deena patent loafers which I snapped up in the Urban Outfitters sale, this outfit is smart and makes me look like I mean business! Boxy fitting blazers and suit trousers never look good, I much prefer a form fitting dress such as this one.
Yesterday was the windiest day known to man. I ran a couple of errands in the morning (wearing my hair down) only to nip back home rocking a Bridget Jones birds-nest barnet (you know that scene I'm talking about where her headscarf flies off in the car and she arrives at her weekend get-away spot looking like a yeti.)
It was time to unleash an up-do. With only ten minutes to spare before having to leave for the fair, it was a race against time. But luckily Pinterest had my back.
Top tip: utilise Pinterest hair tutorials to your advantage by simply typing in the look you want to achieve, often they have a step by step hair guide. I searched for "chignon" and a quick and easy tutorial popped up to save the day!
Easy as pie and sassy but smart. Simple!
