The do-it-all bronzer for your travel makeup bag.
If you, like me are a little obsessed with make-up, then you know only too well the struggle when you need to pack 'minimally' for a weekend away or a trip to see friends. You um and arr over which palettes to take, which brushes you can squeeze into your teeny weeny makeup bag and pack and unpack thirteen trillion lipsticks just in case you need to cover all bases - (vampy goth? Glamorous red? Pretty pink? Who knows what you'll need!)
This is where makeup which can do more than it's 'set' job comes in handy.
I was faced with such a dilemma recently. Having speedily packed a travel makeup bag I went to do my face for an evening out and realised to my horror that I'd forgotten to pack any eyeshadows. As I whacked on a bit of bronzer an ingenious idea struck me. My Soap & Glory Wonderbronze palette could double up as an eyeshadow palette! Check out the smokey eye look below I created using the bronzer!
As you can see, this baby is battered and bruised - I use it virtually every day and haven't hit pan yet despite having this since the summer!
The tones are quite rose gold and orangey, so to give a bit more matte depth I popped a little contour palette into my crease. But the champagne highlight shade and light pink shimmer are perfect for the brow arch and cupid's bow! 👄 The look is gorgeous paired with Mac's Velvet Teddy on the lips!
