Product Empties I'll be repurchasing!

Bonsoir les filles, what a glorious feeling it is to know that you've made it to the middle of the week! I may have a little verre de vin rouge to celebrate this eve, coz #winewednesdays should DEFINITELY be a thing... 💁🏼🍷 Tonight's post takes a look at some products that I've been lovin' recently - ones which I've sadly used up but would certainly repurchase without batting an eyelid. So without further ado, let's take a gander at the products in question.

First up it's these L'oréal Paris hair expertise shampoo and conditioners. These seemed to be out of stock EVERYWHERE for a while and I was so gutted because these are my absolute faves. Much to my delight they made a sneaky reappearance in Boots & Superdrug with revamped packaging. These products retail for approx £6.29 each, but you can occasionally grab them on a 2 for 1 deal to save yourself from splurging ridiculous amounts on haircare.

The sulfate free formula ensures that your hair is not stripped of its natural oils, moisturing your scalp and making your locks feel lovely and silky and less like straw. The botanical oils are nourishing and also smell divine with scents of rosemary and sandalwood which I find particularly relaxing. As my hair is very fine and limp, I tend to wash it every other day to give it a little texture. My friends often ask how my hair doesn't get mega greasy without washing it every day and the key is no sulphates! Sulphates strip your hair of its natural oils, leading your scalp to produce excess oils to compensate for this - quickly making your hair look like a chip pan despite the everyday washing.

Though this product is a little more luxurious than your average shampoo and conditioner combo, a little goes a long way, so if you purchase these on an offer then you've got yourself a steal! I would definitely recommend browsing their range as they have different products and scents to suit different hair types. I'd recommend both the pure strength and the pure colour products as I've tried and tested both and have seen great results.

This Simple toner is a fail safe for me. I always stock up on Simple products when they have some sort of offer on, and this toner finds itself in my basket time and time again. It's incredibly gentle on the skin and doesn't dry out my skin too much which other more stringent toners have done in the past. I have quite sensitive but dry skin so have found that this product gets every little last lingering scrap of makeup off my face without worsening my dry patches, I like the fact that it's scentless and just does the job! It's really affordable and can be picked up in drugstores or supermarkets for approx £3.

Ah, my one true love... Bioderma is the bomb when it comes to makeup removers. I have used it for years, dabbling with Garnier's Micellar water at a lower price point but returning to my trusty favourite after lengthy comparisons. I've just ordered a twin pack of the 500ml bottle on Amazon and cannot wait for it to arrive because my skin has been breaking out like crazy lately, so I'm ditching the Garnier Micellar water and going back back to my old trusty Bioderma. It gets every little scrap of makeup off and leaves my skin feeling velvety and plump, soft as a little baby's bum! The 500ml bottle lasts me approx 4-5 months as you only need to use the product quite sparingly. Hands down, my fave all-time cleanser. If you haven't seen my review/comparison of the two products already you can watch it here for more information.

The Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation is a cult product which I've been loving due to its great colour match and healthy glow. When it comes to drugstore foundations, I swear by this one and Bourjois' Healthy Mix. The Wake Me Up foundation has a very subtle shimmer to it compared to the Healthy Mix, which makes your skin look really radiant and youthful. I love the fact that there is an SPF in this foundation and also think that the medium coverage gives a really natural finish, at just £8.99 you really can't go wrong with this one!

I am the queen of dry skin and so when it comes to moisturising, I look for a thick, non-greasy product that will help me combat those pesky patches. I love this day cream as it does the job really well without costing a total fortune. You can pick this up in drugstores or supermarkets in the region of £6-£7.

If you want your skin to look like it's oozing a radiant, glowy aura than get your mitts on this Lumi Magique primer girlfriend! At £9.99, this product creates a really silky base for foundation and helps to smooth over pores, while adding that extra oomph of natural glow.

I expressed my undying love for Bourjois' Rouge Edition Velvet lipsticks in my lipstick swatches post, and boy the love is still going strong. I love the fact that these are so pigmented and long-lasting on the lips, because I am a lazy lipstick lover who ain't got time for reapplying every ten minutes! These lippies are gloriously matte and so look very pretty in a classic vintage sort of way. This deep burgundy red in shade Grand Cru is completely divine and makes your teeth look super white thanks to its blue undertones. I'll definitely be repurchasing this iconic colour for my collection.

I hope you enjoyed this post - let me know in the comments below whether you've tried any of these products and of course follow PrettyDaring for more beauty, fashion and travel updates if you haven't done so already!

Comme toujours, bonne soirée à vous!

Bisous,

Georgia.
